Spend memorial day weekend camping on a real working farm. Sleep under the stars and wake up to the sound of roosters and farm work under way. Help us with morning chores, take a hike through our lovely woods, get hands on in the garden or enjoy your time relaxing in our outdoor spaces. We provide fire wood, a campfire dinner and a cold breakfast. You bring the camping equipment and a sense of adventure! Please register per participant ages 3 and up.

Join us as we explore art in nature with hand-made collaborative books from Regin Igloria on hand-built pedestals along our walking trail. Interact with the books through drawing, writing, and investigating other participant's contributions while you enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the Learning Center.

• Meet the artist, Regin Igloria and learn about his work
• Make your very own mini artist's book using up-cycled, recycled and re-purposed materials from around the farm
• Share drinks and refreshments with the community around our lovely fire pit
• Make some s'mores over the fire! (Adult supervision of children will be required.) 
• Support Regin and the Learning Center when you shop selected handmade books and journals in the Farm Store

The Belvidere Chamber of Commerce is excited to host this beautiful race along the Kishwaukee River Path. The race will start and finish in Doty Park downtown Belvidere. Dogs and strollers are welcome. Please be courteous to runners and stay to the side of the path. 
The purpose of this Run/Walk is to provide healthy family fun to the festival weekend. Belvidere Heritage Days is to celebrate the community and the rich history of our area. Proceeds from this race will help keep the festival going for years to come.

There will also be a free kids race at 9:00 AM. It will stay within the park and will be approximately 400-500 meters on the circle path in Doty Park.


Packet Pick Up will be available at the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce office (404 S. State St. Belvidere, IL 61008) from 8am-4pm on 6/24. Race morning pick-up will be available from 7am-7:45am at Doty Park.

*****Runners who register after 6/16 will NOT be guaranteed a race shirt.***** 
On-site registration will be available at the Belvidere Chamber (404 S.State St. Belvidere, IL 61008) Friday 6/24, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, and Doty Park from 7:00 AM until 7:45 AM on the event day.
